M3GAN 2.0 is coming to theaters on June 27 and fans of the first movie have a lot to be excited about. This new chapter picks up after the events of the original M3GAN, where a lifelike, super-smart doll turned deadly.
The first M3GAN movie came out on Jan 6 of 2023. The M3GAN movie was a big hit with it being the biggest opening for the first weekend of Jan since 2018. In the first M3GAN movie Gemma took care of her niece, Cady, after Cady’s parents died in a car crash. Gemma works on a project to create a life size doll toy named Megan for children to play with and be protected when they feel lonely. Cady loves Megan and they have a great relationship till Megan gets out of line and grows smarter and starts killing animals and eventually people to “keep Cady safe”. Finally, when Megan tries to hurt Gemma, who is Cady’s legal guardian now, Cady steps in and helps Gemma shut Megan down for good. This movie was very successful, and many can’t wait to watch the prequal this upcoming June.
Now with the Trailor of M3GAN 2.0 out, the movie follows Gemma and her niece Cady, who are faced with a big problem when a new robot named Amelia, was made using stolen Megan technology and goes out of control. Amelia was made for the military, but something goes wrong, and she becomes very dangerous, especially to those who held part in her creation. Amelia starts causing chaos and hurting people, but no one knows how to stop her or shut her down. Gemma and Cady realize the only way to bring down Amelia is to bring Megan back but with some major upgrades this time. Megan is ready to take on Amelia in a crazy AI battle. But as the two robots fight things get complicated. Cady is caught in the middle and is not sure if Megan is really on their side anymore. M3GAN 2.0 is a fast-paced and creepy story about what can happen when robots become too smart and too strong for humans to control.
M3GAN 2.0 has been being talked about everywhere as so many people are excited to see it. Megan in the M3GAN 2.0 movie is physically played by Ami Donald, who does all the dances and physical movements as Megan. While Jena Davis voices the voice of Megan in the movies. Gemma is played by Allison Williams, Cady is played by violet McGraw, Amelia is played by Ivanna Sakhno, Cole is played by Brian Jordan Alverez, Tess is played by Jan Van Epps. Director of the movies is Gerard Johnstone. The first film received largely positive reviews from critics. M3GAN had its world premiere in Los Angeles on December 7, 2022.
M3GAN 2.0 looks like it will be an exciting and thrilling movie that takes things to the next level. With the same main actors coming back and new characters joining, the story will be even bigger and more intense.
