Persona three was an unparalleled success back when it came out in 2007 which launched the series into stardom and created endless amounts of fun for people who enjoy gaming to get immersed in. The world that was created was so large in fact that they had to 3 different games for you just to understand this single part of the Persona series.
Persona three: Episode Aigis was an explanation of the ending and carries on the games emotionally brutal and heart-breaking story that would leave some in tears. The DLC follows one of the characters, Aigis, who is a robot, combating different loose ends created by the protagonist in the first game and helps give a more cohesive ending to Persona three as a whole. The amount of love that was put into this was absolutely wonderful and very well received by the fan base and created that same feeling the original game did.
Flash-forward to February two, Persona three Reload, a remaster of the original game, released to overwhelmingly positive reviews from both longtime fans and new fans alike. The story was the same as the original with larger tweaks to the gameplay when it comes to dungeon crawling and social elements of the game with the addition of more diverse dungeons and a change to how “social links” work, making them a way more integral part of the story.
A brand-new wonderful edition to the world of Persona and a nice breath of fresh air from the very strange games in the series that have been met with mixed reviews since Persona 5 came out. When the game came out, people were wondering what would be next, as the developers and the publisher said this would not be the last part of the Persona 3 series remasters. People wanted to know whether Episode Aigis would be released or Persona three: Fes. This is where you play as a new protagonist, but you are in the same shoes as the original story with a few differences here and there.
Episode Aigis one the metaphorical coin flip here and ended up being the expansion releasing on September 10. We can look forward to wonderful new cutscenes and jaw dropping graphics with the eye-opening scenery of the abyss of time. Its biggest change that is coming is a brand-new character Mitis, who just like Aigis, is an android. She has a massive role to play in the story thanks to a few loose ends created by the main protagonist due to the absolutely monumental achievement of averting certain demise for the entire human race as a whole. Just remember to play the game on release and you will have a second emotional trip just as good if not better than the first.
