Sabrina Carpenter and Tucker Pillsbury, also known as Role Model, both released their deluxe albums on Feb 14. Carpenter released her ‘Short n’ Sweet’ on Aug 23 with 12 songs and then added 4 new songs along with a new version of ‘Please Please Please’ featuring Dolly Parton. Pillsbury released ‘Kansas Anymore’ on July 19 with 13 songs. He added 4 new songs to his deluxe album, ‘Kansas Anymore (The Longest Goodbye)’, just in time for his tour starting on Feb 24.
Carpenter released her music video for ‘Please Please Please’ on June 6 featuring Barry Keoghan which, at the time, was Carpenter’s boyfriend. Lyrics saying, “I heard that you’re an actor so act like a standup guy,” is suspected to be about Keoghan. Once fans read between the lines, they figured out the connection. This couple was together for about a year when they realized they wanted to “take a break.” Fans, not aware of the situation immediately, started a rumor that coincidently Keoghan had cheated on Carpenter with Breckie Hill, an influencer. Carpenter and Keoghan claimed the allegations were not true. This statement was misleading considering the new music video of ‘Please Please Please’ which shows Carpenter and Parton speeding away from the police with a man tied up in the back of the truck. Carpenter has stuck to the theme of an old-timey look throughout her music videos, concerts, and even her Grammy performance.
Pillsbury is the newest pop star in the music industry. He had a previous relationship with famous influencer, Emma Chamberlain. This couple started dating on Valentine’s Day back in 2023. Coincidently, his deluxe album was released on Valentine’s Day this year. Pillsbury’s album includes multiple songs that are most likely about Chamberlain. ‘Frances’ and ‘Oh, Gemini’ are obvious factors considering Chamberlain’s middle name is Frances and she is a Gemini.
Pillsbury has started his ‘No Place Like’ tour on Feb 25 in Phoenix, Arizona. As he becomes more popular on social media platforms, he develops more and more fans and recognition. Because of this reason, his ticket prices have skyrocketed. Also, with the recent release of his music video for ‘Sally, When The Wine Runs Out’, fans have noticed his personality and style making him trendy.
Carpenter’s ‘Short n’ Sweet’ tour started on Sep 23 in Columbus. It is said to end on April 4 but with her latest new songs, performance skills, and popularity, fans think she will add on more dates to the tour. Selling out at many locations, many fans did not get the chance to see her. As of Feb 27, she announced she is coming back to a few more locations this fall for “one last short n’ sweet hurrah.”
